Enjoy a walk of approx. 5-6 miles, followed by an optional pub lunch. Walks generally take 2 - 2.5 hours and go ahead in most weather conditions, so suitable clothing, footwear and experience are essential.
Members are encouraged to lead walks and assistance can be provided for this.

This year's first Sawston u3a Walking for pleasure!
23 people joined us, with 15 staying for lunch - a great start to the new year 2025!
The walk commenced and finished at The George Inn Babraham, kindly led by one of our new members this year, and was carried out across 5 miles, and 2 hours of lovely, local countryside (including the old Roman road), in both dry conditions and brilliant winter sunshine.
