Guidelines Effective From August 2026
1. There will be three Outings programmes issued annually. In addition, theatre trips may be booked separately, where there is a need to obtain numbers to secure tickets and payment.
2. All communications will be sent by email, wherever possible, including the outings programme and any additional outings that may be offered. Members who are unable to receive/print emails will be sent copies of the programmes in the post.
3. Further information on all our outings will be available on our website, and we invite members to send in photos and/or write a short resume after the outing to post on our website.
4. You will be notified within two weeks of the deadline date as to the outings for which you have been successful.
5. If you are allocated a place on an outing, then you are committed to accepting that place, and payment should be made by the due date; we will always take account of any exceptional circumstances, which should be notified without delay.
6. Please note we reserve the right to cancel any visits if there are insufficient numbers.
7. All payments should be made by BACS/On-line, wherever possible. Please note that payment by cash is not acceptable at any time.
8. All payments should be received by the due date, and places will be re-allocated after this time unless we have been notified of late payment. It is therefore important that you send notification of payment when paying by BACS/On-line.
9. Please note that all times shown on the outings programme are provisional and may be subject to change. An email confirming timing and contact details for the trip will be sent 2-3 weeks prior to the visit.
10. If you have booked a place on an outing and are unable to attend, please notify us ASAP and we will endeavour to fill your place from the reserve list, failing that you may wish to try and find a replacement, as we will do not generally issue refunds.
11. All coaches will depart from Sawston War Memorial at the given time and will not wait for late arrivals except in unforeseen circumstances.
